Freya is a sweet, gentle, placid girl. She has a very special bond with her Mum Stella always stays close to her on walks. She has enjoyed attending regular gundog training classes and I have found her to be keen and responsive. All in all she is a pleasure to own.

Freya had a very successful puppy career and she gained her JW with ease at 12 months. She has a calm and placid temperament in the house but loves to run wild when out on her walks. She had her first litter of puppies in December 2007 they were a lovely typey litter and two boys have went to North America to be shown and a very cheeky daughter stayed at home with us called Mimi. Mimi has had an excellent start to her show career winning open and championship show first's and aged 11 months she gained her JW.

We had a lovely day at the Golden Retriever Club of Scotland Open Show in October, her two children (MacTavish and Mimi) were Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy Bitch and Freya herself was Reserve Best Bitch in Show. We are very proud that not only Freya herself has done so well in the ring but that her children also are showing great promise, we will possibly be mating Freya in 2009.

Freya is the dam of a Champion, 2 x RCC winner & a Junior Warrant Winner. 5 of her progeny have been through health clearanes all 5 have clear eye certificates, all 5 have 0 elbows and they have hip scores of 6, 7, 8, 9 & 12.
