We are absolutely heartbroken at loosing our gorgeous girl, Stella passed away under anaesthetic while having to have a c-section to deliver her puppies. Loosing her in that way has been devastating and we still cannot come to terms with it, she was wagging her tail at the vets while she got prepared for surgery, the operation was going ok and just as they had got the last puppy out her heart stopped and they could not revive her. We cannot believe that our outdoorsy exhuberant girl who did everything in life at full speed slipped away so quickly in the blink of an eye.

I'm desperately trying (through the tears) to write something here to do her justice. She was so funny, energetic, loving, beautiful, loyal, - so many words I could use to describe her but none seem to do her justice. She was amazing and every day I wish that she would come back to me, I long to look into her big soulful eyes and stroke her golden curls, I hope she waits for me at the bridge.

Stella is Latin for Star and Stella was a real golden Star!

Stella was an amazing Mum, we used to joke she loved everything about puppies from the day they were conceived until they day they left for their new homes.

As much as Stella adored her babies in turn they adored her and none more so than Freya, she was such a Mummy's girl she followed Stella everywhere. She is still a little lost without her.
